Tex/Mex Spice Mix

Prep Time: 10 min.
Cook Time NA

I found this in with a bunch of my old restaurant recipes. I used this to season everything from taco meat to red sauce. Its done by parts so you can make as much or as little as you need. If you use cups you will get a lot, if you use tablespoons you will get less.  Makes sense eh?

10 parts Chili Powder
2 parts Ground Cumin
2 parts Granulated Garlic (Not Garlic Salt)
1 part Granulated Onion
1 part Season Salt
1 part Season Pepper

Combine all ingredients on a large close able container. Shake well. Put into smaller containers. I usually save old spice containers for this purpose.

I use this mix in taco and burrito meat. Add a little to your Guacamole or refried beans. It’s just a great all around Tex/Mex seasoning..
